PAULINE A. RUDZINSKI MERRILLVILLE, IN Pauline A. Rudzinski age 92 of Merrillville formerly of Hegewisch passed away peacefully on August 29, 2015. Pauline was a devoted mother and homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking, and crocheting. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Florian Church and member of Rosary Ladies, Daughters of Isabella, Young at Heart St. Florian, Golden Agers. Beloved daughter of late John and Anna Babet, loving wife of late Edward Ofiara and late Leonard Rudzinski, cherished mother of Edward (Doris) Ofiara, Leonard (Eva) Rudzinski, dearest grandmother and great-grandmother of many, loving sister of late Antoinette, late John, late Andrew, late Frank, late Stanley and late Bruno. Visitation will be on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666) and on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Prayers from chapel at 11:30 a.m. for Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Pauline will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

STEVEN MARSHALL REEL Steven Marshall Reel was born on December 6, 1955. He passed away on August 8, 2015. Steve grew up in Griffith, IN and lived in Crown Point IN. He later moved to Akron IN. Steve is survived by two bothers, Ed "Butch" and wife Ann Reel of Lancaster CA. and Tom Reel and Sandi of Pompano Beach. FL.; sister, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Paul of Buford GA.; several nieces and nephews. Preceding Steve in death are his parents: Robert and Cleo Reel; sister, Beverly Reel; brother, Bob "Red" Reel. Devoted father of Brett (Sandy) Reynolds and Cindy Reynolds. Proud grandfather of Kristen Ellis, Alison Reynolds, Emily and Cody Marsh. Dear brother of Gary (Dartera) Reynolds, Darrell (Jenny) Reynolds, Bill Reynolds, and Debbie (Michael) Coleman. Brother-in-law of Tracey Reynolds and James Garrison. Son-in-law of Mildred Garrison. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Opal Reynolds, his sister Marilyn Reynolds, brother Michael Reynolds, brother-in-law Scott Garrison and his father-in-law Walter Garrison. Visitation Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311. Private Interment. Mr. Reynolds was a U.S. Army Veteran. Howard enjoyed his retirement spending time with family and friends, playing golf and darts, and tailgating with his neighbors. BARBARA A. RAMOS (HNAT) MANTENO, ILLINOIS Barbara A. Ramos (Hnat), 76, of Manteno, passed away August 24, 2015. There will be no visitation. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude, V.A. or charity of your choice. Mrs. Ramos was a homemaker, wife and retired from Venture in 1989. She was born September 16, 1938 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph Hnat and Hazel Tauber (Abegg). Barbara enjoyed crafts, puzzles of all types and her game shows. Surviving are one son, Ronald L. Ramos Jr of Manteno, Illinois; six daughters: Rhonda Pryle of Valparaiso, Indiana, Barbara (Dale) Callaway of Salt Lake City, Utah, Rose (Robert) Kenney of Damon, Texas, Christine (Frank) Schmidt of Hebron, Indiana, Michelle (Jan Hillis) Ramos of Glenwood, Illinois, and Rebecca (Jesse) Gonzalez of Kissimmee, Florida; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Ronald, whom she married August 13, 1954; 2 daughters, Joanne Ramos and Felicia Dmitrasz.
