ARDEN J. AYLESWORTH VALPARAISO, IN The world lost an “Earthbound Angel” on March 4, 2014: Arden Jill Aylesworth. Arden, the daughter of Wallace and Auretta (Rigg) Aylesworth was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wallis Adair (Wiese). Her love of sewing, helping her kids and being “Grandma” were her life’s ambition. Tirelessly leading the Fayette Go-Getter’s 4-H Club in Wisconsin for more than 20 years, and helping many youth learn to sew in both Wisconsin and Indiana, she spent her life finding joy in stitching the threads of life together. Arden is survived by her three children: Lisa & Steve Carpenter and their four children Cody, Colton, Carson & Cora; Lori (Berget) and her two children Emma & Tyler; Lance & Hilari Lansing and their son Liam; and her close group of friends that lived near her. Her passion of sewing took her to work in the House of Veils & Gowns in Monroe, WI and she saw her grandkids excel in the 4-H sewing program, also. Upon returning to Indiana, she took a position at Wal-Mart in Valparaiso. Mom’s love of agriculture and her family was seen in her many trips to the Lafayette County Fair and the Wisconsin State Fair, where she watched her kids and then her grandkids exhibit their projects. Please help her family celebrate her life on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. at the First Christian Church-Doc located at 1507 Glendale Blvd. in Valparaiso.
