Eli Bosnak

He left us just this morning, He crossed the Great Divide His pain is gone, he's young again, He'll find new broncs to ride Eli Bosnak, age 80 of Crown Point/Lakes of the Four Seasons passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009. He was formerly of Chicago and Homewood, IL. Eli was born on January 17, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Eli worked as an Iron Worker for Local #1 in Chicago for 43 years. He was a member of the Oaklawn Masonic Lodge. He was an avid/experienced Horseman and participated in cattle drives in Wyoming. Eli is survived by two sons: Wayne (Sheila) Bosnak of St John, IN and Robin (Barbara) Bosnak of Winfield, IN; two daughters: Sharon (Roger) Salinas of Munster, IN and Sylvia (Paul) Gardner of Belvidere, IL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents: Milan and Frances Bosnak; his wife, Mary Bosnak (nee Orsini); and one son, Rocky Bosnak. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street, Winfield, IN with Rev. Joseph V. Murphy officiating.
