Jeannine Aline "Nene" (Bonesteel) Anderson

JEANNINE "NENE " A. ANDERSON (NEE BONESTEEL) CROWN POINT, IN Jeannine "Nene" Aline Anderson (nee Bonesteel), age 78, of Crown Point, IN, currently residing at Wittenburg Village in Crown Point, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St. Anthony Hospital. Jeannine is survived by her sister, Norma Kallay; nieces and nephews: Rick (Tina) Bonesteel, Sandra Dill, Bruce (Judi) Bonesteel, Karen (Dennis) Brown, and Lance Bonesteel and great-nieces and nephews: Jenn Bonesteel, Jason Bonesteel, Scott Bonesteel, Kevin Dill, Kyle (Andrea) Dill, Jordan Bonesteel, Ashley Bonesteel, Nicole Brown, Kelly Brown, Lindsey Brown and Jacqueline Bonesteel. She was preceded in death by her parents: Vernon and Julia (Miskowski) Bonesteel and brother, Richard Bonesteel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN with Rev. Jake Lee officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at Geisen Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 2:00 until the time of the service at 7:00 PM. Jeannine grew up in Indiana Harbor. She later married and moved to California. She returned in 1962 and started at First National Bank, East Chicago, where she worked 25 years as Assistant Teller Supervisor. In her younger days, she was very active in her church, Highland First Church of the Nazarene and worked with the Sunday School. She later worked at Burrell Color Lab, Crown Point. She loved to sing and dance. She was a family historian. She loved making friends, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life. Jeannine was a very kind, warm and loving individual.
