Marjorie Aaron

MARJORIE AARON Marjorie Aaron passed away peacefully June 6, 2012 in Medford, OR. She was born in Hammond, IN where she grew up with her mother, Mildred Atkinson); her father, Clem Atkinson; and her two sisters: Marilyn and Janet, until she moved to Riverside, CA, where she met her husband, the WWII veteran, Robert (Bob) Aaron. They moved to Crown Point, IN and had three children: Robert (Bob), Kathryn, and Janet; and five grandchildren: Jonathan and Bryan Bastasich, and Ben, Joe and Jane Backen. Marjorie loved her job working for many years with the students and staff at Lake Central High School. Marjorie and Bob loved taking their children to travel all over the country. In 1991, she moved to Seattle, WA, which she called "paradise,"and traveled to Europe several times in the 90's. In 2003, she moved to Medford, OR where her daughter, Janet and her family live. She loved and cared deeply for her family and friends, and she was deeply loved in return. Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home with John Starr and Ziden Nutt officiating.
