Michael "Mickey" Fields

MICHAEL "MICKEY" FIELDS Michael "Mickey" Fields, age 65, passed away March 15, 2013. Michael was a 1966 graduate of Horace Mann School (Gary) where he was Chief Operator of the Visual Aides Dept. He was a Ham Radio Operator with an FCC Registered Amateur Radio License, was brilliant in the field of electronics starting at an early age, a lover of animals, and a member of Temple Beth El in Gary. Michael is survived by his wife, two children, son-in-law and two grandchildren; sisters: Bonnie Fields of Indianapolis and Lisa (Evan) Fields Cooper formerly Gary and Munster; niece, Lauren Cooper all from New Jersey; aunt, Phyllis Rosenfield of Munster/Florida; cousin, Carol Slavick-Blander; and many other cousins. He is predeceased by his parents: Harold and Thelma Fields of Gary/Munster; grandparents: George and Bessie Katz; best friend, Frank Editz all of Gary; and nephew, David Cooper.
