PATRICIA C. BOLES LAKE STATION, IN Patricia C. Boles, age 73, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012. She was born in Eolio, MO on October 29, 1938 to William and Ella Marie Walter. Patricia was a Republican Party Precinct Chairwoman and poll worker for many years. She retired from the Indiana Toll Road and was a substitute teacher for many years. Patricia was a member She was a member of the First Christian Church in Lake Station, the Moose Lodge of Whiting, and the Red Hat Society. She was a woman of generous spirit who loved taking care of her family and tending to her flowers. Patricia is survived by her three stepsons: James (Mary) Boles of Remington, William (Carolyn) Boles of Elkhart, and Michael (Missy) Growchowski of LaPorte; 11 step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett in 1991; son, Bryan Boles; stepdaughter, Judith P. Hammon; and grandson, James Boles, Jr.; two brothers: Billy Walter and Marvin Walter; two sisters: Virginia Christopher and Mitzy Higgins. A funeral service for Patricia will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station, with visitation just prior from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
