Thomas Eisha

Thomas Eisha, 79, of Lansing, passed away February 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Betz); four children: Laura (Gerry) Pich, Linda (Jeffrey) McBride, Thomas J. (Denise) Eisha, and Michael (Kimberly) Eisha; ten grandchildren: Justin, Travis, Geena, Airman Curtis, Luke, Emily, Katie, Makenna, Camden and Chase; along with many nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his sisters: Lillian (Late Frank) Morgan, Laverne (Late Thomas) Kelly, Marion (Late George) McNamara, Barbara (Ted) Andress; brother, Joseph (Late Lorraine) Eisha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM directly at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 3:00-8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL. Tom was the former owner of Eisha Appliance. He was a longtime Sergeant with the Lansing Police Department Special Division, former Lansing Village Trustee for 16 years, member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus #3540, member of the Lansing Lions Club, and an avid Cubs fan. Tom was a parishioner and usher at St. Ann Church in Lansing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
