WARREN C. KITNER "KIT" CROWN POINT, IN
Warren C. "Kit" Kitner, age 84 of Crown Point, formerly of Lowell and South Holland, IL, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, June; son, Kurt Kitner of AZ; daughter- in-law Patricia Kitner of Griffith; grandchildren: Nicholas Kitner of Indianapolis and Alison Kitner of Griffith; sister. Iris (Aldo) Beltrame of Oak Forest, IL; and sister-in-law, Caryle (Joseph) De Simini of Lowell. Preceded in death by son, Mark; and parents: Ira and Adeline Kitner. Mr. Kitner was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. He was a retired insurance agent with Prudential Life Insurance, Chicago Heights with 28 years of service. Kit enjoyed golfing and coached Little League teams in Dolton and Riverdale. He was a former member of the Lowell Senior's Club. Kit also served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service (811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point) on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 3:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:30 AM from the Pruzin & Little Chapel with Rev. Dan Barnum-Steggerda officiating. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.
