Wilma Rose Meredith Stypula

Wilma Rose Meredith Stypula, 79, of Columbus, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center. A homemaker, Mrs. Stypula enjoyed the outdoors, playing bingo, painting, and drawing and she was known to have a green thumb. She was a former member of the Crown Point Elks Club. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. (ET) Friday, November 22, 2013 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 4205 Jonathan Moore Pike, Columbus, IN 47201. Family and friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. (ET) Thursday and from 12:00 noon until service time Friday. Burial will be at the Shiloh Separate Baptist Cemetery. Born in Marseilles, IL on April 8, 1934, Mrs. Stypula was the daughter of Monte T. and Lennie Folks Meredith. She married Edwin F. Stypula May 23, 1954. He preceded her in death July 2, 1999. Survivors include her sons: Glenn Stypula and his companion, Elaine, of Crown Point and Stacey Stypula of Columbus; grandchildren: Natalie (Jeromy) Glover of Crown Point and Jason (Carley) Stypula of Cedar Lake; a great granddaughter, Reagan Miracle Glover; sisters: Sharon Aull of Columbus and Barbara Wilson of Halltown, MO; brothers: Gary Meredith of St. Petersburg, FL and James (Ruth) Meredith of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
