Albert "Bill" Wright Hammond Albert "Bill' Wright, age 68, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Janice; three sons, James Wright of Hammond, Rollin (Debbie) Sopher of Schererville and Jeffery Sopher of Hammond; two daughters, Beth "Squeek" (Michael) Hahney of Hammond and Kimberly (Jeffery) Meister of Chesterton; eight grandchildren; Leslie, Patti, Brittney, Casey, Michael Jr., Justin, Nikolina and Cathy; two brothers, Denver "Ray" (Louise) Wright of Ohio and Leroy "Dee" (Pat) Wright of Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Hasselbring officiating, with cremation to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Mr. Wright was retired from Meade Packing of Chicago; and was the owner and operator of Enterprise Auto Brokers of Griffith; and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr.Wright had a passion for cars and was active in several car clubs and was also an avid fisherman. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband, best friend, father and grandfather, and was loved by all who knew him.
