Thomas Puplava Obituary

Thomas C. Puplava Whiting Thomas C. Puplava, 81, of Whiting, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2004. He ws preceded in death by his parents, Frank, Sr. and Mary (Dado) Puplava and nine othr siblings. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lottie (nee Teborski); two daughters, Barbara (James) Herrick of Scabrook, TX and Frances (James) Russell of Valparaiso; four grandchildren, Jim (Monica) Herrick, Mary (Alan) Robertson, Justin Russell and Matthew Russell; one great-grandchild Ryan Robertson; two brothers, William and Edward Puplava, both of Whiting; and many nieces and nephews. A native and lifelong resident of the Whiting area, Mr. Puplava proudly served as a member of the U.S. Army's 413th Infantry, 104th (Timberwolf) Division during WWII. He was a Whiting High School graduate, a member of Immaculate Conception Church, a retired welder from Amoco with 35 years of service and a member of the VFW. He was a wonderful and loving person who was an inspiration to many. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso, handling arrangements. angelcrestinc.com
