I am very sorry about your loss Larry and family...I couldn't believe it when I heard....may The Lord hold you all in the palm of his hand. I remember Connie when she watched Brittany for us and was the one who got her off that pacifier! ;). I know after losing my husband that the pain won't be as sharp but the memory will always be there! God bless

Our hearts ache for the loss Connie's family is enduring and yet we rejoice in the knowledge that she is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior as she joins her family members who have gone before. She has left behind many wonderful memories for all who knew and loved her. My mom, three sisters and brother join me in asking God to bless and comfort her loved ones as they mourn her absence here on earth. Connie's dad, Ed, and I were cousins.

I just found out about Connie's passing through my mom and dad since I have moved away from the area many years ago. I have the best softball memories playing with and against Connie, sharing rides with her when we were doing our high school student teaching, and going out being crazy teenagers. I am very shocked and saddened, by the passing of Connie. She was not only my friend growing up but one of the best softball pitchers ever. She was a legend with her windmill style pitching and speed. Even the police were so impressed, they brought their radar gun out to the field, to check her speed. So glad I got to share alot of hard work,sweat,laughs and even broken bones , with her on our team. She was also a fellow classmate of mine. 1980 I even remember Connies 1st car. She took such pride in that and kept it spotless. I had the pleasure of coming with Ed and Helen to one of Eric's wrestling matches at Portage,years ago. Unfortunately, the last time I got to see Connie was at her dads funeral. I am so very sorry for your loss. God has gained, such an amazing Angel. See you soon, Sandy! Love to you!

Dear Tharp family,
I am a childhood friend of both Connie and Sandy. I spent a lot of time with the Rush's when I was growing up. I have such fond memories of Connie. I am so sorry to get this news. I played many a softball game with and against Connie when I was growing up. She was the best pitcher in Hobart and I had the distinct pleasure to be her catcher. My Dear Tharp Family, We wiill always remember the wonderful kindness that Connie showed our family. Whether it was making sure our house was clean, our yard looked perfect, or spoiling Keano, Connie always had a smile on her face and friendship to give. Those are the kind of things that she will be remembered for - making people smile and bringing laughter in their lives. While it's going to be very difficult to think of this world without hier, it is a happy thought knowing that wherever she is, she is only spreading happiness.
