Today is so bittersweet, Dad. The Cubs won the World Series last night. You waited so long to see it, and I know you did. You got to celebrate with all of the great ones and the ultimate Great One. I wish we had been able to celebrate with you but there is no better way to celebrate your life than with 'Blue October' and your memory will forever be etched in history with the year the Cubs finally won the World Series again. Love you!

Karen, Kim & Laurin - May you find comfort in your memories of Pete and in your faith. I know it's been a long time since we've all been together, but I have great memories of family gatherings, including what a nice and gentle spirit Pete had. I'm sure he will be missed by everyone who knew him

Thank you for being such a great dad to two very special women, and a grandpa to four lucky grandkids. Your pride for their successes in life always shined all around you. Years ago, I remember you inviting me to tag along to the baseball games. Oh, how you loved everything about them. Mr. Bondi, you will forever have front row seats to all Cubs games moving forward. Even better, you will have your own path beside each of your loved ones, so you will always be with them. Love, Peggy Lieberman (Rice)

We are so happy to have known and shared so many moments with Pete. He was very much a part of our family and the kids lovingly called him Grandpa Pete. We love you Pete and you will be missed.
