Anne was preceded in death by her parents: Linda and Clark Root; and brother, Lawrence C. Root. She is survived by a sister- in-law, Camille Root-Vignocchi (Nello Vignocchi) of Orland Park, IL; a niece, Heidi Gnadt (Karl) of Urbana, IL; a nephew, Lawrence "Chip" Root Jr. (Aleece) of Plainfield, IL; grandnephews: Roland and Isaac Gnadt; and grandnieces: Tahlia and Gabriella Root. Anne will be greatly missed by her family, her dear friends Mary and Susan, her Sheffield Ave. "family" - Linda, Tom and Tracy, and her Prairie State colleagues. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Olympia Fields United Methodist Church, 20301 Western Ave., Olympia Fields, IL.
