Candace Lynn Obituary

CANDACE RENEE LYNN CROWN POINT, IN Candace Renee Lynn, age 37, of Crown Point, born to loving parents: Ron and Carol Vargo, passed away November 15, 2009 from complications of giving birth to Blake Lynn. Candace is survived by her two sons: Tyler (age 4) and newborn, Blake; loving and devoted husband, Scott Lynn; brother, Scott Vargo; parents: Ron and Carol Vargo; father and mother-in-law: Jerry (Lydia) Lynn; and brother-in-law, Mitch Lynn. Candace was dedicated to caring for her entire family in every way. She was there if someone needed to laugh, cry, or just needed a little extra support. She will be remembered for being a great friend to many, the best wife in the world, loving and supporting every member of her family. But most of all, Candace truly was devoted in every way to taking care of her boy; the one most important way that Candace wants everyone to remember her is being "Tyler's Mommy". She sacrificed so much of her personal life just to make sure that Tyler had the best of every moment of the four years she was with him. Many will grieve from her loss. She was truly loved by everyone, but she will live on through the sacrifices she made for both of her children. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN with Rev. Ron Thomas officiating. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. www.burnsfuneral.com

Please accept my condolences for your loss of Candace. I grew up with her, going through the same school systems of Miller, Harrison, and Merrillville High, graduating with her in 1990. To hear of her death saddens me greatly, cause the one thing I remember of her is that gorgeous smile she always had. It always made me feel good. My heart goes out to you in your time of loss...

Ron Vargo and my husband worked together at Mittal and I worked with Candace for several years at the hospital. She was truly a lovely person and always so happy. I know she will be missed so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I will always remember Candace as the most sweetest, thoughtful, always smiling, full of joy and beautiful girl. I often thought of her during Christmas when one year she and I decided to decorate my house and she ran around the house singing Feliz Navidad. I think we were in 7th or 8th grade at the time. She was the type of girl who would light up a room and had an infectious smile that would make you laugh no matter how upset or mad you felt. I take comfort in knowing she is now a beautiful guardian angel watching over her loved ones.

To Carol, Ron and Scott and the rest of Candace's loving family: I pray you find comfort in each other during this most difficult of times. Candace was a VERY special person. I will always remember being welcomed into your home when I was in third grade for Candace and I to have sleepovers. You all were always so kind to me, and I loved being friends with Candace; she was my first "bestie" and taught me a lot about friendship. Growing up meant growing apart for us, but it was always so good to bump into her somewhere when I least expected it. Know that you have shared a special person in your life with many people--thank you for that. And Candace, I will always remember the friendship we shared waaay back when, and I want to thank you for the wonderful memories I have of you. I know you were welcomed Home in Heaven with open arms. All of my love and sympathy, Mickey
