CHARLES W. "BILL" BLISS HOBART, IN Charles W. "Bill" Bliss, age 91 of Hobart, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013. Bill served in the U.S. Navy, during WWII. He worked at Atkins Ice Cream and Bethlehem Steel. Bill enjoyed bowling, softball, golf and watching his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Bliss; and sisters: Louise Berg, Anne Shadley and Jane Reed. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Wini; children: Richard (Janice) Bliss, Jeanette Lovall, Greg (Anne) Bliss, Pamela (Dale) Bolinger and Michael (Pam) Bliss; sister, Martha Irvin; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. He will forever be remembered by his entire family as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart.
