DOLORES "DOLLY" MICHALSKI SVETLIK MUNSTER, IN Dolores Michalski Svetlik, age 80 of Munster, formerly of Calumet City, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2013 Dolores was born on June 29, 1932 in South Chicago to parents Mathew and Rose (nee Falkowski) Pieczynski. She was preceded in death by two dear husbands: Stanley Michalski and Joseph Svetlik. Dolores is survived by her beloved son, Dan; daughter-in-law, Jan; granddaughter, Tori; as well as brother, Dan (LaVerne) Pieczynski; many loved cousins including Christine Mash; and dear friends: Mary Kammerer, Mary Banaski, Jean Smith, and Hope Gonzales. A sincere thank you to Deacon Tabion and Pastoral Care, to the caring staff of the William J. Riley Memorial Residence, and Hospice of the Calumet Area. Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church with Fr. Mike Yadron officiating. Friends may gather in the church at 9:30 a.m. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in c/o St. Thomas More Church.
