Donald Michael Mores Whiting Donald Michael Mores, age 51 of Whiting, passed away Monday, October 25, 2004 at his residence. Beloved son of Maryann (Palikan) Mores of Highland; loving brother of David of Highland; Gregory (Susan) of Morganton, NC and Thomas (Shana) of Long Beach, CA; dear uncle of Virginia Ann, Sara and Nicholas; many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his father Florian Mores; sister, Patricia Mores; paternal grandparents, John and Mary Mores and maternal grandparents, Michael and Anna Palikan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting with the Rev. Stanley J. Dominik of Sacred Heart Church, Whiting officiating. Interment, St. John Cemetery, Hammond. Visitation at the funeral home Friday 4-9 p.m. Donald Mores was born on August 15 1953 in Hammond, IN and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet region. He graduated from St. John the Baptist Catholic School, Whiting and George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1971. A member of the Whiting F.O.P. Lodge #68 and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. Br. 452. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. John School Endowment Fund would be appreciated. 219-659-4400.
