Edwin Ciesielski, age 78 of Portage, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012. He is survived by four children: Joseph Ciesielski of Lake Station, Mark Ciesielski of Portage, Lisa Ciesielski of Indianapolis and Lora (Scott) Chessor of Portage; four stepchildren: Bob (Tammy) Taylor of TN, John (Sue) Taylor of South Haven, Mary Truth of South Haven and Betty Montag of UT; two grandchildren: Stephanie (Fred) Joseph and Jeffrey Cluff; two great grandchildren: Chase and Graham; numerous step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; sister, Sophie Kolody of Crown Point; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Deloris; step-daughter, Karen Taylor; and brothers and a sister. Edwin was a retired electrician from the machine shop at Gary Works, US Steel with 32 years of service. He was a member of the Silver Bell Club, PNA Lodge #2365, and he was an Army veteran.
