Jack Schroeder Obituary

JACK THOMAS SCHROEDER FORMERLY OF VALPARAISO, IN Jack Thomas Schroeder, age 54, of Florence, MT, formerly of Valparaiso, IN, died at his home Sunday, December 16, 2007. He was born October 28, 1953 in Valparaiso, the son of Richard and Joan (Pierce) Schroeder. Jack graduated from Chesterton High School in Chesterton. He was a carpenter and worked for Schultz Construction. Jack loved animals and plants, and never met a man he did not like, nor a man that did not like him. He was a loving son and brother and a devoted father and grandfather. Jack was preceded in death by his nephew, Kyle Kozar. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Archie) Ioannides of Idaho Falls; two sons: Jake and Jared Schroeder of Florence, MT; two grandchildren: Isabella and Brackyn Ioannides; his parents: Richard and Joan Schroeder of Valparaiso, IN; three brothers and one sister: Roy (Lori) Schroeder of Valparaiso, IN, Nancy (David) Crume of Carmel, IN and Rex (Boo) Schroeder of Valparaiso, IN and Paul (Kelli) Schroeder of Newbury Park, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church, DOC, 1507 Glendale Blvd., Valparaiso, IN with Rev. David Kovalow - St. John officiating. Memorials may be made to the Aspen Hospice of Montana, 107 Bell Crossing West, Stevensville, MT 59870, the First Christian Church, Valparaiso, or to the American Cancer Society. I am so sorry to hear about Jack. I seen it back in December & had to call someone back there to make sure it was true. I will remember the things I did with him seems like not that long ago. Best wishes.
