Jean Frantz Obituary
Jean R. Frantz, age 81, of Indialantic, FL, Formerly of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday March 30, 2008. Originally born in Hammond, IN, Jean resided in Indialantic, FL for the past four years to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She had a fulfilling life working in the newspaper publishing business before retiring. Jean is survived by her loving children: Diane (Dr. Paul) Scott (nee Kipta) of Melbourne, FL and her three loving grandchildren: Troy and Trent Sidabras, and Stephanie Scott; devoted son, David (Camie) Kipta of Wheatfield, IN and son John Kipta; and grandchildren: John, Cathy and Mary Kipta. She was preceded in death by her late husbands: John Kipta, an architect and contractor in Northwest Indiana and William Frantz of Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Thomas More Church with Fr. Michael Hoffman officiating, Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN and Saturday from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the church. Jean's smile and sense of humor touched many and she will be missed dearly. For more information please call (219)924-3333.
