JOSEPHINE A. BALCZO HEBRON, IN Josephine A. Balczo (nee Terrana), age 89, of Hebron, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point, IN. Josephine is survived by her children: Paula (William) Mattocks of Chapel Hill, NC, Mary Ann (Neal) Bardens of Lowell, IN, Charles (Linda) Balczo of Jackson Lake, TX, Christine Longstreth of Monticello, IN, Joseph (Marilee) Balczo of Hebron, IN, and Patrick (Regina) Balczo of Hebron, IN; grandchildren: Jake (Amelia) Mattocks, Kate Mattocks, Jessica (Scott) McCowan, Joseph Jackson, Josh Longstreth, Brandy (Chris) Carman, Joseph Paul (Amy) Balczo, and Charlotte, Sherry and James Balczo; five great grandchildren; brother, Don Terrana of Hebron, IN; sisters: Carolyn Bowen of Hebron, IN, Florence Miller of Hebron, IN and Lillian Gift of Wanatah, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph; sons: Joseph, James, and Lawrence; parents: Thomas and Irene Hartman Terrana; brother, Bob Terrana; sister, Anna Prchlik. Josephine was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Hebron. She was a graduate of Washington High School in East Chicago and St. Catherine Hospital School of Nursing in East Chicago. Josephine worked at Porter Memorial Hospital and Whispering Pines Nursing Home. She was a member of Porter County Registered Nurses Club. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main Street, Hebron, IN, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral prayers will be said on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:15 AM from Geisen Funeral Home in Hebron followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 302 N.
