Lawrence "Larry" Costa, age 67 of Valparaiso, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011. Larry is survived by his son, Robert Costa of IL; daughter, Heather (Mike) Mayden of Portage; three grandchildren: Matt, Eric and Rachel Mayden of Portage; brother, John (Judy) Costa of Munster; two sisters: Judith Costa of IL and Rosalie (Thom) Modesitt of IL; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Yolanda (Late Ernie) Cherullo of Glenwood, IL; and brother-in- law, Ernie (Mary) Cherullo of Chicago. Preceded in death by wife, Connie; and parents: John and Bernice Costa. He was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a former owner of Costar Graphics, Chicago. Larry was a former employee of Goes Lithographic, Chicago and was an avid golfer. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with a half hour visitation prior DIRECTLY from Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd., Portage with Rev.
