Mary Amodeo Northbrook/Lansing/Calumet City, IL Mary Amodeo of Northbrook, IL, formerly of Lansing and Calumet City, IL, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004. She is survived by her sister, Marie (Albert) Armato of Palatine, IL; nieces and nephews, Joellyn Greco, Judy Amodeo, Philip Amodeo, Virginia Price and Michael Armato. Preceded in death by parents, Philip and Olivia Amodeo, brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ethel Amodeo and nephew, Tony Greco. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 11 AM from LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN, with Rev. Richard Orlinski officiating. Burial, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Mary was a lifetime resident of this area, worked for years as the manager of the grocery, bakery, cookie and candy department at Goldblatt's in Hammond, IN, and was the recipient of many employee awards from the company.
