I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Clauss was always one of my favorite teachers at Salk and she introduced us all to Annie. For that I am truly grateful.

Thoughts and Prayers to the Clauss family. Her encouragement to join the mixed choir in elementary school gave me the courage to sing in choir through high school. I know I was just one of many students whose life she touched. God Bless.

Ms. Clauss was my music teacher when I was a young girl. I'm now 45. I remember where I sat in our music room, & how important she made us feel. She had a huge impact on my life, & taught me what was really important, not what other people thought. From a little girl in her music class, I will remember her forever. I wish my own boys could have met her. Thank You, Ms. Clauss, & Rest In Peace.

You are the reason I can stand in front of large crowds and not be afraid. The plays and musicals we had in the early eighties were some of the best memories of my younger years. You were a fantastic teacher.

To the Family of Phyllis Clauss,
I worked with Phyllis when I taught with her at Salk School in Merrillville. She was such a great help to me as I tried to put on a Christmas program one year. Phyllis had a wonderful laugh and a beautiful smile that I always remember. She was a lovely person and a great teacher. My prayers go out to all of you at this time. I will always cherish the many memories I have of her.
