ROBERT "BOB" ROY DROBAC HOBART, IN Robert "Bob" Roy Drobac, 76 of Hobart, passed away February 22, 2013 at the VNA Hospice in Valparaiso. Bob was born in Gary, IN the son of the late Roy and Catherine Drobac. He graduated from Horace Mann in 1955. Bob married the love of his life, Phyllis Fedorchak on February 17, 1961. They celebrated 41 years of marriage before her passing in 2002. During her extended illness, there was never a more loving and devoted husband. Their union produced three exceptional sons: David (Mary), Mark (Mikell) and Christopher (Christine) Drobac, all of which survive. Bob was very active in his sons' lives, coaching at east Glenn Park Little League. For many years, they enjoyed playing softball at Hillman Park. Football was a huge part of the Drobac family, having all three sons play for the Brickies. Bob was an accomplished man, having worked in sales, distribution, and for the railroad. He retired with 25 years of service with Humiston- Keeling/ Cardinal. Retirement brought Bob lots of free time to enjoy the things he loved: golf, the White Sox, The casino boats, his annual trip to Las Vegas with David and Mary, doing puzzles and meeting up with friends at Cressmoor or the VFW. Bob had a smile that would light up a room. Bob will be missed by many. Also surviving are grandchildren: Brittany, Markie, Ian, Calynn and Lainey Drobac; one great granddaughter, Cali; sister, Mary Lou (late Sam) Suitca; special aunt, Sophie Rotkvich; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
