DR. RONALD PHILIP BLOCK, D.D.S. HEBRON, IN Dr. Ronald Philip Block, D.D.S., age 62, of Hebron, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Northwestern University Hospital. Dr. Block is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melinda; five children: John Block, Rebekah (Sean) Packard, David Block, Christopher Block, and Daniel Block; mother, Virginia Block; and brother, Robert (Gale) Block. Preceded in death by his father, Francis Leonard Block. Dr. Block was a veteran of the Illinois National Guard and a graduate of The University of Illinois and UIC-Dental School. Dr. Block owned Block Dental in Winfield, IN and another location in Chicago, IL. He was an accomplished pianist, involved in his church and scouting programs, loved and cherished his family, and felt his greatest legacy was his children. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 687 W. 650 S., Hebron, IN with Bishop Michael Barker officiating. Interment at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN. Friends may visit with the family Friday, January 21, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N.
