THOMAS J. SAMARGIN SR. CROWN POINT, IN Thomas J. Samargin Sr., age 54, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Dolton, IL passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at home with his family by his side. Tom is survived by his wife of 27 years, Virginia “Ginny” (nee Tyberg); three children: Alan of Cedar Lake; Thomas Jr. (Connie) of Valparaiso; and Dianna of Crown Point; mother, Diana Samargin (nee Ciochetti); brother, Frank (Beth) Samargin; sister, Domenica (Gary) Hartman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will remember him fondly. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Frank. Tom worked as a cabinetmaker for the past 10 years at Crown Countertop & Cabinet in Crown Point. He enjoyed fishing, music and playing his guitar, world history, and most of all loved his family. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday morning, February 7, 2014 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307 from 8:30 AM-9:30 AM. Funeral prayers will be said on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 9:30 AM at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 Joliet St., Crown Point, IN, with Fr.
