PAUL J. ADAMS, JR. DYER, IN Paul J. (PJ) Adams, Jr., age 68, of Dyer, formerly of Crown Point, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2014. PJ was a member of the U.S. Army - 3rd Infantry Honor Guard - Arlington, VA. He started as a Lake County Deputy Sheriff, and retired as Patrol Commander. He also worked at the Lake County Coroner’s office as Chief Deputy Coroner. PJ is survived by his wife, Peggy Adams (nee Ferguson); stepsons: Michael Frohnapple, Timothy (Lindsay) Frohnapple, and Jamie Frohnapple; sister, Maureen Aber; nephews: Vance (Elaine) Duvall and Brett (Vanessa) Duvall; niece, Val Jean Duvall; mother-in-law, Dorothy Ferguson; grandsons: Mason and Reid Frohnapple; many great nieces and nephews; special friend, Joe Escabedo; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Joanna) Ferguson. Friends may visit with PJ’s family on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 12:00-5:00 PM with funeral service at 5:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
