Alice M. Dalrymple (nee Casassa), age 87, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at VNA Horton Hospice Center in Valparaiso. Born on February 21, 1927 in Boston, MA to the late Frank and Mary (nee Gambrino) Casassa. She was a resident of Valparaiso since 1948, formerly of Medford, MA, member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Altar Rosary, Oasis Club, Valparaiso Women's Club, Garden Club, former member of Vivians of the Elks Lodge #500. Survived by sons: Charles A. Dalrymple Jr. of Valparaiso, IN, John Anthony (Karen) Dalrymple of Valparaiso, IN, Joseph Allen (Kate) Dalrymple of Elmhurst, IL; grandchildren: Chad and Julian, Elizabeth and Michael, Megan and Gina; brother, Ernest Casassa of Medford, MA; many nieces and nephews; nephew, Earl Deal. Preceded in death by husband, Charles A Dalrymple Sr.; siblings: Mabel Dondero, Florence Brahm, Dorothy Deal, Edward Casassa, Helen Basset. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church Queen of Apostles Chapel, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso IN with a Funeral Mass immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Joseph Pawlowski officiating. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN.
