ANTHONY M. ARVIA, JR. "TONY" HOBART, IN Anthony M. Arvia, Jr., age 74, a resident of Hobart, IN, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on April 5, 2014. Tony was a graduate of Fenger High School, Chicago, IL, Class of 1958. He was a journeyman meat cutter for Jewel Food Store for 35 years. Tony is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy Arvia; two daughters: Rosemarie (Kevin) Malone of Manhattan, IL and Frances (Randy) Kien of Lowell, IN; one son, Anthony Arvia III; five grandchildren: Melinda, Ashlynn, Cristian, Alexis, and Paige; and one great grandchild, Stella Leah. He was preceded in death by his parents: Anthony and Silvia Arvia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart, IN followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget's Church, 107 Main Street, Hobart, IN with Rev. Patrick M. Tucker officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Hobart.
