Theodore W. Kallas, age 67, of Lansing, IL, passed away April 24, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Janice; four children: Michelle (Thomas) Lentine, Scott (Jamie) Kallas, Melissa (Randy) Simpson, and Sean (Kristin) Kallas; six grandchildren: Tommy, Chris, and Ashley Lentine, Adisen, Rhylen and Chase Kallas; sister, Pat Roark; brothers: Bill (Nancy) Kallas, Mike (Lisa) Kallas and Jerry (Maxine) Kallas. Theodore was preceded in death by his father and mother: Aloysius (Agnes) Kallas; grandson, Anthony Lentine; and father and mother- in-law: George (Muriel) Jeske. Please Note Change in Days Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 beginning at 9:30 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL, proceeding to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, April 29 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Ave, Munster, IN, 46321. Theodore served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam, and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Walgreens and was currently employed in the tool rental department at Home Depot. He was also employed with Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A as a bus driver.
