JAMES D. REIHEL CROWN POINT, IN James "Jim" D. Reihel, age 54 of Crown Point passed away May 10, 2014, after a brief illness. Jim was formerly of Riverdale, IL and was employed by South Bend Auto Auction and the Chicago Sun Times for 23 years. He was a member of Local 727 Teamsters Union. Jim volunteered for post Katrina clean-up and loved to golf. Jim is survived by his wife Cindy Fabian (nee Vereb); mother, Elaine Reihel - Schneider (Harry); brother, Richard Reihel; two sisters: Pamela Cook and Terri Hillard (Kevin). Uncle to James Cook, Jessica Cook, and Kayli Hillard; and three step children: Jeanette (Joe) Gregory, Julie (Aaron) Hershman, and Jonathan Fabian, mother-in-law, Irene Vereb; and his cat, Smokey. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM with services immediately following at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point.
