ROSE NAMINSKI (NEE KANIA) KOUTS, IN Rose Naminski (nee Kania), age 93, of Kouts, IN, formerly of Glen Park, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Valparaiso Care & Rehab Center. Rose is survived by four children: Thomas (Karen) Naminski, Ronald (Denise) Naminski, Paul Naminski, and Patricia (John) Whiteley; seven grandchildren: Matt, Ruth Ann, Megan, Dominic and Cassie Naminski and Tom and Krissy Whiteley; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Chester. Rose was a former member of St. Mark Church in Glen Park. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26, 2014, directly at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 200 E. 78th Ave., Merrillville, IN with Fr. Jon Plavcan officiating.
