SALO BERNARD KALISCH The Kalisch Family mourns the passing of Salo Bernard Kalisch, beloved father and grandfather, who lived his life of 97 years with kindness, authenticity, fearlessness, and a selfless dedication to all those he loved. Salo was a holocaust survivor, and served heroically as a lieutenant in World War II. He endeared himself to all that knew him. We are especially grateful to his close friends, and the loving neighbors he had in his Valparaiso apartment complex, who showed such heartfelt concern and care for his well being. We were truly blessed to have had him for so long, and to have had such a loving, lighthearted, and exceptional person be in our lives. He will be sorely missed and forever cherished in our hearts. Salo loved dogs, and in lieu of sending flowers, we know that he will be smiling if a contribution to an animal was to be made. Bartholomew Funeral Home, Valparaiso in charge of arrangements.
