Adele F. Torok, 93, of St. John, IN, formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014. She is survived by her daughters: Sandra (Jim) Hellrung, Fran (Bob) Justak and Kim (John) Stahura; grandchildren: Debbie Attar, Jeff (Brenda) Justak, Jennifer (Greg) Kraft, Chris (Suzanne) Hellrung, Todd (Michele) Hellrung, Katie (Patrick) Small and Joe Stahura; great grandchildren: Jacob, Kory and Alex Attar, Megan, Peyton and Jay Justak, Lauren, Kathryn and Ryan Kraft, Madeline, Jimmy, Sarah, Kayla, Josh and Samantha Hellrung; sister-in-law, Gloria Torok; preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josephine Pokropinski; husband, Albert F. Torok; sister, Irene (Michael) Sargovetz. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Adele was a retired Manager for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company with 37 years of service. She was a member of the Active Telephone Pioneers. Adele was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and a former member of St. Thomas More Church, where she was active after her retirement for 10 years in Pastoral Care, Eucharistic Ministry and as a Greeter.
