KRISOS ANDREOU CROWN POINT, IN
Krisos Andreou, age 74, of Crown Point, IN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Greek American Nursing & Rehab in Wheeling, IL. Krisos is survived by his children: Karen (Dennis) Spyratos of Hoffman Estates, IL, Andreas Andreou of Merrillville, IN and Peter (Denise) Andreou of Crown Point, IN; grandchildren: Dr. Tom (Andrea) Spyratos, Gina Spyratos, Krisos Spyratos, Christopher Andreou and Ariana Andreou; brothers: Michael (Andrikou) Andreou and Yianakis (Maroulla) Andreou both of Cyprus, Greece; sister: Athanasia (Anastasis) Hrisostomou of Cyprus, Greece; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Maroulla; and parents: Andreas and Paraskevi Andreou. Krisos was a member of Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and was retired from Blaw-Knox and Union Tank Car Company. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave./South St., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 directly at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 8000 Madison St., Merrillville, IN at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Ted Poteres officiating. Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Memorial donations may be given to: Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
