MARY ANN NOBLES EAST CHICAGO, IN
Mary Ann Nobles, 72, of East Chicago, IN passed away August 9, 2014 at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She was born July 12, 1942 in Eufaula, AL to her parents, Edward and Seffie Coty. Her family moved to East Chicago, IN and she attended the Garfield Elementary and Theodore Roosevelt High School. Mary Ann was the parent coordinator for the School City of East Chicago. She was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Senior Usher Board for over 50 years She leaves to cherish her memory six loving and devoted children: Isaac (Nadene) Facen, Jr. of Gary, IN, Keith (Regennia) Facen of Appleton, WI, Darrin Nobles of East Chicago, IN, Letoria (Rev. Dale) Pugh of Gary, IN, Chynisse Nobles and Ellen Nobles both of East Chicago, IN; sister Linda Culver-Battle of LaPorte, IN; brothers: Anthony and Thomas Coty both of Minneapolis, MN; aunts: Lorraine (Will) Long of East Chicago, IN, Bernice Kimbrough of Atlanta, GA, Mattie Billinesley, Barbara Wilson, and Delores Gipson all of Chicago, IL; uncle Jimmy Blakely of East Chicago, IN; 23 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and dear friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11am at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church 4756 Melville St. East Chicago, IN. Visitation will held from 9:00 a.m. to time of service. Rev. Rodney Golson, officiating. Internment Fern Oaks. Divinity Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
