BERNARD J. LOGAN HOBART, IN Bernard J. Logan, age 85, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014. He was a lifelong Hobart resident and member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Bernie retired from U.S. Steel, National Tube Division with 39 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ava Logan; one brother, Harry Jr.; and sister-in-law, Eileen Logan. Bernie is survived by his wife, Donna J. Rosenbaum Logan; daughter, Barbara (Ed) Griffith; and special grandson, Logan Griffith of Montgomery, Texas; sister-in-law Mary Rosenbaum; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN, from 1- 3 p.m., followed immediately by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Gary Nagy officiating. Services will conclude at Burns Funeral Home and cremation will follow.
