WILLIAM B. FLEMING OGDEN DUNES
William B. Fleming, age 75 of Ogden Dunes, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008. He was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, Class of 1951, a retired construction engineer and a 52 year member of Local 697 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was preceded in death by his parents Georgia (McLay) and Kenneth Fleming, brother Keith Fleming and son Jon Fleming. He is survived by his wife of 53 years "Rae" Rachel; children Deborah (Jody) Biancardi of Highland, IN, Bruce (Susan) Fleming of Gas City, IN, Jill (Daniel) Prestel of Columbus, IN, Robert (Wanda) Fleming of St. Stephen, SC,; grandchildren Joshua , Justin and Jonathan Biancardi, Nathaniel, Cassandra, Abram and Abigail Fleming, Benjamin, Cara and Dustin Fleming, Alexandra, Nicole and Victoria Prestel; great-grandaughter Madison Biancardi; and sister, Virginia (Robert) Boyles of Lowell, IN. His selflessness and unwavering compassion provided for a solid foundation for those who truly knew him. These qualities mixed with his quick wit, appreciation for humor and good music empower his legacy. There will be a visitation at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart on Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 10 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. with a time of sharing at 12:30 pm. Cremation at Burns Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Center, 501 Marquette St., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
