PHILIP T. REISLING DEMOTTE, IN Philip T. Reisling age 77 of DeMotte, IN passed away on Thursday September 4, 2008 at Oak Grove Christian Village, DeMotte, IN. He was born on January 3, 1931 in Canton, OH to Elizabeth (Amos) and Philmore Reisling, both deceased. Phil was a graduate of Canton South High School Class of 1948 and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. On April 9, 1960 he married Glenna Mears, who survives. Phil was a Millwright and Electrician at Inland Steel for 20 years and later was employed at Strack & Van Til. He was an avid bowler and fisherman. Phil is survived by his loving wife, Glenna Reisling of DeMotte, IN; daughters: Cheryl (Rick) Carlson of Munster, IN and Diane (Tom) Dellahan of DeMotte, IN; grandchildren, Jorden, Dakota and Dayton Dellahan, Adam, Ashley and Derek Carlson; sister, Betty Eckinger of Canton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter Patricia; and brothers-in-law: Walt Eckinger and Bill Mears. Friends may call on Monday, September 8, 2008 from 3:00-7:30 PM at Jackson Funeral Service, 200 Third St. SW, DeMotte, IN with a Memorial Service at 7:30 PM with Pastor Joel Zuidema officiating.
