Frank C. Psenak of Munster. Others might fade with age, but Frank Psenak lived. In his last years, Frank traveled to Guatemala, went hang gliding, received speeding tickets for going 100mph, and stayed out until dawn, tempting victory and defeat with each hand of poker. Frank's sister, Anna Miller; his daughters and their families: JoAnn (Dominic) Noce, Frances Hamilton LaSota, and Barbara (Edward) Rysiewicz; his grandchildren: Mark LaSota, Monica (Larry) Noce-Kanarek, Jon (Maura) Noce, Kristine Noce, Amanda Rysiewicz, Renee Rysiewicz and Jeanne Rysiewicz; his great grandchildren: Jaret Kanarek, Juliana Noce, and Dominic Noce; and his special friend Theresa Panicucci know that fur coats and reindeer antlers at Christmas will never be the same and mourn the fact they will never know the truth about "the bank is that way" Dillinger story. At age 89, Frank joins his wife Mary (Laci/ Bajger) Psenak of 57 years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 12noon at the White Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. John/ St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the White Funeral Home, 921 W. 45 th Ave. in Griffith, IN. Frank was an Army veteran and member of the American Legion, Post 369. He was retired from Inland Steel and he enjoyed traveling. Frank's humor, vivacity, and overall spunk will be remembered by all.
