KARI D. EGIPCIACO (NEE MUNSON) DYER, IN Kari D. Egipciaco (nee Munson), age 40, of Dyer, IN loving wife and mother, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Gino of 19 years; two daughters: Jillian and Kelsey, at home; her parents: James and Carol Munson of Highland; grandmother, Katherine Munson; and grandfather, Charles Matlon; also surviving is her sister, Sandy (Michael) Brandmeier of Madison, WI; her brothers: Jim (Barb) Munson of St. John, Ken (Robin) Munson of Greenwood, IN, and Joe (Beth) Munson of Bolingbrook, IL; mother-in- law, Edna Egipciaco and sister- in-law, Alba Quiroga, both of San Antonio, TX; aunts: Sharon (Jerry) and Sue (Steve); and 14 nieces and nephews; and six cousins. Preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruth Matlon; grandfather, Stanley Munson, and father-in-law, Regino Egipciaco. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene, 9330 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN with Pastor Jake Lee, officiating. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. There will also be visitation at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until time of services. Kari was a graduate of Lake Central High School Class of 1986. She was co-owner along with her husband of HPE Graphics in Steger, IL. She was also a foster mother of more than a dozen children. Kari was a member of Faith Church in Dyer and was a womens prison chaplain. She enjoyed various crafts, Christian and country music. Memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
