Diana Tomich Bikoff "Danica", age 95, passed away on February 8, 2011. During her lifetime, she never "met a stranger." Danica loved knitting, reading, opera and gardening. She was a lifelong member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, and for its Circle of Serbian Sister. For many years, she performed a variety of roles at the former St. Sava Hall on 49th Avenue in Hobart. Also a founding member of the Gary Artists Club. Her late husband, John Bikoff, preceded her in death, along with her son Mikail Bikoff, parents Lazo and Ana Tintor, and her brothers: Louis Papak, and Michael, Branko and George Tomich. Danica is survived by her daughter, Danila Bikoff; Grandsons, James Bikoff, John, Michael, Jacob and Mathew LeDrew; Also two great grand children. Also, many family and friends. According to her wishes, funeral services were held privately. In Danica's memory, contributions to the St. Sava Folklore Group (9191 Mississippi Street, Merrillville, IN 46410) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements were completed at Burns Funeral Home-under Savich & Semplinski Directors.
