Theodore Wozniak Obituary

THEODORE WOZNIAK PORTAGE, IN Theodore Wozniak, age 75 of Portage, IN, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 in Hobart, IN. He was born September 18, 1935 in Gary, IN to William Sr. and Theresa (Vaclavik) Wozniak. Theodore was married to Mary Kaye (Demetrakis) Wozniak, who preceded him in death. Theodore is survived by his brothers: William Jr. (Agnes) Wozniak of Valparaiso, IN, John Wozniak of Peoria, AZ and Michael Wozniak of Tucson, AZ; sister, Elizabeth (Manford) Craig of Paulden, AZ; niece, Tracy Wozniak; and many other nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter Wozniak; and sister, Theresa Hostetler. Theodore retired from U.S. Steel, where he worked in the Merchant Mill. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.EE-FH.com.

Thank you to all that called or sent cards during our sad time in our family. At this time last year, he went into the hospital for a small stroke; and other events caused him to leave us forever. We will always miss his smile. To the vaklavic family, thanks for the post, and follow our family on our facebook page as we have created a family page; and would like to keep up on family issues and events. Love to all of you!

Your light will shine with us for all the days of our lives. You made all our days brighter just by smiling. We know that you'll stay with us; we have seen the signs already... butterflies all day today; and sending a Mary-Kay look-alike to us this afternoon.
