Jeffrey P. Delaney, age 55, of Hammond (originally from Whiting), U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. Beloved father of Patrick Delaney, Kathleen Delaney, and Erin Delaney. Cherished brother of Nancy (Tom) Sieracki and Karl Delaney. Fond uncle of John Renko and Mike Sieracki. Services were entrusted to OWENS-RUZICH FUNERAL HOME, 816 - 119th St., corner of (Rt. 41) Calumet Ave. at 119th Street, Whiting. Memorials may be made to the family. I remember Jeff from high school and he was such a kind person. I also remember him from this last year. I would see him going to work every day without fail.
