EVELINA BELL PORTAGE, IN Evelina Bell, age 85 of Portage, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in Largo, FL. She was born May 17, 1926 in Morrisville, VT to Alphonse and Minie (Spaulding) Allaire, who preceded her in death. Evelina is survived by her daughter, Sally (Terry) Oness; son, Peter (Susan) Godin; grandchildren: Melanie (Paul) Humphries, Jennifer (Mike) Sharp, Jason (Stacey) Oness, Kristin (Chris) DeSalle, and Sara (Brad) Linerode; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Janice (Al) Ryan of Lake Elmore, VT; and long time care giver and faithful friend Gail Sherbit. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN with Pastor Mark Hostetler officiating. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery, Portage. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
