YVONNE BAYNE GARGANO (NEE BAKER) CROWN POINT, IN
Yvonne "Bonnie" "Queen Elizabeth" Bayne (nee Baker) Gargano, age 88, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Highland, IN, passed away on February 16, 2012. She was a retired nurse and spent her winters in Florida and summers planting her flowers and watching her birds. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents: Louise and Cyrus Baker; stepfather, Vernon Rice; and her loving grandson, Thomas Sternberg. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Edward Gargano; four children: Sandy (Wayne) Burkholder of the Villages, FL, Larry (Mickie) Gargano of Decherd, TN, Louanne Wright, and Peggy (Rich) Kalmas both of Crown Point, IN; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Ralph (Gwen) Gargano of Crown Point and Leroy (Juanita) Gargano of Highland, IN; sister-in-law, Ella Munda of Calumet City, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets: Widget and Missy. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN going to St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 Joliet St., Crown Point, IN for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Patrick Kalich officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. www.burnsfuneral.com
