Harold Barbee Obituary

HAROLD BARBEE MURFREESBORO, TN Harold Barbee, age 71, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. He was born in Bridgeport, AL to the late Hubert and Ruth Coulson Barbee. He was also preceded in death by son, Richard Barbee; brother, Wayne; and nephew, Darrell Barbee. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel. Dr. Craig Goff will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Harold leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Shirley; three sons: Scott (Sheri) Barbee, Sean (Jackie) Barbee and Jason Reynolds; daughter, Kim (Jon) Dykstra; two sisters: Robin Barbee and Judy Offiner; eleven grandchildren; one great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews; a devoted father-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law. Harold worked in the steel and automotive industry before moving to TN in 2007. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel. 615- 893-5151.
